It was discovered decades ago that our core personalities are determined when we are under 5 years of age. Yet many of us forget this and try to change people. People are who they are. People don’t change. We need to accept people as they are and either invite them into our life or keep them out. We need to sort who we want in our life and who we don’t want. It’s far better than inviting people into our life and trying to change them into someone more to our liking. It won’t happen.
It is a good idea to observe how people act. Determine their personality. Start with their most basic trait. Are they a value adder or a value taker? If they are a value taker, keep away from them. There are no good reasons for inviting a value taker into our lives. No long term benefit…
