I’ve just been reading up on the Rhonda Byrne (author of the Secret and it’s successors) lawsuit – something about her not having paid what’s due to her partners in the production of the Secret movie and insisting on having no contracts signed with some people since that’s against the metaphysical principles she espouses.Whatever the truth of the matter concerning Rhonda’s actions is, the truth of the essential messages she conveys in her work remains as is or at least subject to examination in it’s own right. It’s classic. We’re very good at shooting the message along with the messenger at times. We rely heavily on the messenger’s personal “match” to our ideals or the message itself  to be convinced of a message regardless of it’s veracity. The only problem with this is that we can easily be duped since we rarely (if ever) have all the facts and politicians/manipulators…
